- Implementing the National Livestock Mission Entrepreneurial Development programme in establishing, sheep/goat breeding units, piggery breeding units, Low Input technology, poultry breeding units, and Haylage/silage/Total Mixed ration block producing units.
- Implementing Livestock Insurance Programme through the units of Department of Animal Husbandry, and the Dairy Co-operative Societies of Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation.
